Unbelievable but true. CocoModX is back with a new version.
Fasten your seatbelts, because
CocoModX has not one, not two ... but three new music libraries and many new supported file formats. First
TFMX support finally made it into
CocoModX. Special thank goes to Jonathan H. Pickard and David Banz for developing the
TFMXPlay (Below on this side you will find the full source code of the used TFMX framework).
Second we've got the
BASSMOD from Ian Luck.
BASSMOD is a fast, stable, low resource using mod library which supports the most common MOD formats. Last but not least we've got the
MilkyPlay from Peter Barth. The
MilkyPlay supports a lot of MOD formats and gives you support of some new formats like AMS, CBA, MDL, GDM, PLM, PTM and MXM. Further it gives you much better XM support then the other MOD libs does. So i made the
MilkyPlay to the default MOD Library from
CocoModX.
New Features:
- Update to FMOD 3.7.4
- TFMX Support
- Added BASSMOD library
- Added MilkyPlay library
- Improved GUI Layout
- Reading Song Messages from Tracks (MilkyPlay only)
Fixed Bugs:
- fixed memory leak
- get full tiger support

Why can't CocoModX play the file format x?
At the moment CocoModX only embeds the libmikmod,BASSMod,

In the future i'm going to add more libs.
Why can't CocoModX play my files named "mod.something?"
This problem has been fixed with version 0.2.3.
But you can rename the file to "something.mod" and CocoModX is able to play this file.
Why can't CocoModX play .zip files?
This problem has been fixed with version 0.2.3.
But you can rename the file to something.mdz and CocoModX is able to play this file.
I have some window handling problems. Why happens this?
Disable the docking option in the preferences.
This is a small bug in Cocoa and i hope Apple is going to fix this for the future.
I have some Octamed files, but CocoModX dont play them!
CocoModX only supports Octamed files MMD0 and MMD1.
